We are Joe and Brenda Attaway, lifelong residents of Winter Haven, Florida, the Chain of Lakes City in Central Florida, and home of Legoland!
We have never been able to imagine a home without a dog, but we knew we had discovered something special when we met our first Labradoodle! As a homeschooling mother of four children, I just couldn’t keep up with the shedding dog hair our Chocolate Lab left behind. But since I also had lots of other kids in and out of my home, I had to have a dog that would be gentle and loving to everyone, and one that wouldn’t eliminate my mom and nephew, who both have asthma, from visiting my home. We found it! What we think might just be the perfect dog! When you find something that good, you just naturally want to share it with all your friends, even the ones you haven’t met yet!
So, we searched until we found a quality breeder we could trust to mentor us, and we set off on an exciting journey to bring the very best of the best dogs to the very special people who will choose to embrace these extraordinary animals as a part of their families! Mark and Karen Stanford are the owners of Tampa Bay Australian Labradoodles, and our mentors. They are the finest of people, breeders, and friends. When you work with Lakewood Australian Labradoodles, you can trust that the Stanfords have sown into us the wisdom and teaching that they have gained in their career of breeding Australian Labradoodles. We consider ourselves truly blessed!
We are so excited to meet you and match you with an exceptional puppy. Just remember, these litters sell out early, so reserve your spot today!
We raise our Labradoodles and their puppies inside our home as members of our family. We believe this makes the best pet/companion/therapy dog. We spend a great deal of time with our dogs and puppies. They will never be in an outdoor facility or left to make a mess on the floor. We will work with them, laying a foundation for you to have a well-trained pet if you continue the training we begin. We believe in the care of your next family member, and we invest in them just as we would an infant we were caring for. Those first eight weeks of life are very important, and our investment in your puppy will lay the groundwork for an outstanding pet for your family!
